Westworld Scoring Competition
Spitfire Audio, the reputable sample library creators, teamed up with HBO to host a film scoring competition. The following clip is from HBO's Westworld series, to which each participant gave their best musical interpretation. The following is my submission. Please note this is not official music for the series and I am not affiliated with HBO.
Felix: Neptune Nonsense
Writing music synced to media is a challenge, and the frenzied nature of classic cartoons makes every musical phrase a vital counterpoint to the onscreen action. Here is a reimagining of the score to the 1936 Felix the Cat episode Neptune Nonsense, complete with slide whistle and a vocal quartet.
